Club History and Club Honours

Coventry Rovers Volleyball Club was founded by a group of Rover Chassis Engineers at Longbridge some twenty years ago. A photo of the original team is shown below.

Although Rover, the car company, has since faded out of existence. Coventry Rovers Volleyball is going strong.

Last season our men's team won the Leicestershire Mens league. In the previous two seasons we have made the semi-final. In 2008-9 we were beaten in a close match by Tamworth whilst in 2007-8 we were thrashed by a strong Loughborough University team. In 2006-7 we won the Leicestershire mixed league.
